I am exaggerating a little, this studio project was actually one of the most relaxing ones I have ever done... that is if a studio could even be relaxing. Our project deadline was Wednesday night at 10 pm, assuring that everyone got a full nights sleep before presentations began on Thursday. I left studio confidently at 6:30 pm and didn't look back.
Presentations were scheduled for both Thursday and Friday accommodating everyone's schedules and class confections. My presentation was Thursday afternoon and it went very smoothly, probably one of my better critiques! Back at Miami, I have only had presentations that were round-robin style where I stand beside my presentation, a teacher/grad student wanders over and I talk for 15 minutes, get either praised or pooped on, then do it again 2 more times. Here, you present your board in front of your professor and two guest critiques, as well as 4 other AD students and who ever else decides to sit in. You present your project then it is opened up to questions and comments.

I am really happy with this project; I have never used curves in a project before and I have also never watercolored. I have always wanted to, and after consulting the watercolor god, Søren, I mustered up the confidence to paint my precious drawings. They turned out beautifully (if I do say so myself) and I couldn't be more proud.
