So many big things are happening and all within the next two weeks! I am traveling to Switzerland this weekend, then Thanksgiving is on Thursday, Friday I am traveling to Jutland to meet my distant relatives, the the following Wednesday our final studio project is due. Phew! I am wearing myself out just thinking about all of it!
But, in the mean time, I want to mention that Super Moon that just occurred. I couldn't see it the last two nights because of cloud cover, but tonight I was sitting by the window working on homework when the bright white moon caught my eye out the window. I know it is past it's largest viewing size, but even still it was brilliant.
The summer before I left for college, I was walking my dogs with my dad when he said something I will never forget. He looked up at the moon and said whenever you are feeling alone, no matter where you are, just remember that if you look at the moon, it is the same one I am looking at.
I have had an incredible semester and I absolutely love it here, but home feels so far away and I miss it dearly. Seeing the moon tonight reminded me that I'm really not that far away and I found great comfort in that thought.
It is so hard to believe I have only 28 more days here, and they are about to fly by.
(Also, Happy Birthday Aunt Becky if you are reading this! I miss you so much and I hope you know I've been thinking of you all day! Eat all of Aunt Margie's frosting for me!)
