...I traveled to Vienna and decided there is no way I am not coming back to this beautiful country.
One of my closet friends from home studied abroad in Vienna over the summer for 6 weeks so she gave me a couple of musts to do while visiting and I will concede.
1st: Visit Cafè Central and consume your calorie intake for the month by ordering every one of their delicious and gorgeous pastries. I got their classic warm chocolate cake with vanilla.... talk about eating heaven out of a spoon.
2nd: Visit the Albertina Museum. This is officially my favorite museum I have ever been to. They have a mix of contemporary art by incredible artists like Warhol as well as an entire wing dedicated to showing off the lavish and luxurious state rooms. The museum takes contemporary and classic art and building styles and combines them to create an experience you will never forget.
3rd: Buy a brat from the stand with the rabbit on top. That sounds crazy, but I promise you, it will be the best brat you have ever eaten. What is even better, is it is located right outside the opera house and is so popular that after shows at the opera are over, guests in all their fancy dresses and suits will come and get a brat and champagne. It is quite the scene to see.
4th: Visit the Schonbrunn Palace. It is a hike, both to get there and to get the best view, but it is so worth it. When we visited they were just putting up the Christmas Tree in front of the palace... I cannot even imagine how beautiful it is there during the holidays. We did not go inside the palace, but the grounds alone are stunning.
