Now that I have gotten settled and I know how to get around the DIS area, I have begun to explore more of what this beautiful city has to offer. It does not disappoint. Here are things you must do when you come to Copenhagen.
● Visit Nyhavn
● Do a Canal Tour in Nyhavn
● Eat Shawarma at least once
● Stumble upon one of Copenhagen's beautiful parks and eat lunch there
● Climb the tower at Parliament to get the best view of the city
● Have a Chai Tea Latte and Blueberry muffin at the Studenterhuset with a friend
● Have a Danish Smørrebrød at Pilekælderen (my recommendation is the Creamy Chicken Salad)
● Discover La Glace and kiss your wallet goodbye as you will devour the best cake in all of Copenhagen
● Get the best cinnamon rolls from Sct. Peters Bageri every Wednesday for only 15 kr
● Study at The Living Room, it is the coolest place to study and is the definition of hygge. Also, they have Choco Lattes, enough said.
● Visit the Cisternerne, kinda hike from DIS and kinda creepy, but totally worth it.
● Have a piece of pumpkin pie from The American Pie Company, delicious x100
I will continue to update this list all semester!
